Frequently Asked Questions
When can we arrive at the campsite and at what time?
In low season, you can arrive on any day you like! For the timetable, arrivals are in the afternoon, from 4pm to 6pm. If you are late or unable to attend, please contact us by phone. In high season, arrivals are only on Saturdays. Arrivals are from 4pm until 8pm. If you arrive earlier, you can enjoy the campsite and its facilities (heated swimming pool, bar/snack bar) while waiting for your mobile home.
I receive VACAF aid, how do I proceed?
After receiving your mail, call our campsite. We will then guide you through the booking of your mobile home and the payment of part of your holiday through VACAF.
Is the campsite by the water?
Our campsite benefits from an exceptional location, and has its feet in the water! From the campsite you have a view of the sea, but also of the lagoon and nature reserve of Belle Henriette. As the campsite is situated at the foot of a nature reserve, and in order to preserve the tranquillity of our bird friends, it is not possible to swim in front of the campsite. By following a customs road for 1,500 metres, the beach can be reached without crossing a road or taking a car…
Does the campsite have a heated swimming pool?
We have two swimming pools at Camping Les Violettes: an open pool and a covered pool, both of which are accessible from the opening of the campsite! The covered pool is heated to 28 degrees from the opening of the campsite.
Is television available in our mobile home?
Yes, a TV is available in each of our mobile homes, and this service is included in the price of your stay (except for reservations via Mistercamp). But don’t spend your time in front of the TV, and come and enjoy the sea view and the beautiful beaches of the Vendée instead.
Is wifi available on the campsite?
Wifi is available throughout our campsite. There is a charge for this service, and the price depends on the number of days you choose. The rates are displayed at our reception, and are available when you connect to the campsite network.
Are pets allowed?
Yes ! Our four-legged friends are welcome at an additional cost. They must weigh less than 10 kg, not be in categories 1 and 2, and a photocopy of the vaccination booklet is required.
Does the campsite have a kids club?
Yes, we have a children’s club for those between 6 and 12 years old. It is open in high season, from Monday to Friday, and from 10am to 12pm and from 3pm to 5pm.
Is the campsite a bread depot?
